My Baby boy is 2!

Today my Caleb turns 2 years old. Amazing isn't it.
We had a party Sunday at River Forks park. It was a ball theme since he loves Ball balls so much! The kids decorated there own cupcakes with frosting and round candies. I think the goal ended up being, get as much candy onto each cupcake as possible. Katie even decided to turn her ice cream cup into bubblegum ice cream. We had a small blow up ball pit which was fun as long as Katie and Caleb were not in it together.

After that he got to unwrap all of his presents. (Which just happened to all come to the party unwrapped) hehehe He was very sweet and said thank you to everyone. The Ding Ding from Grandpa and Grandma was a big hit. (That is a guitar by the way) The Pider Man Bike from the other Grandpa and Grandma was also awesome although he would prefer to just stand on it and be pushed rather than using his own muscle power. (That was a scooter by the way)
He got some balls that are way fun to throw at his buddy and sissy. A fun sprinkler which he hasn't been able to use yet but Timmy and Taiah were nice enough to try out for him. :) Also some gardening tools which he really would prefer not to share. (he is 2 all the time)
We got him a Pathfinder Radio Flyer Wagon. Big, Plastic, Red, and durable. It is supposed to have seat belts but we didnt get them in before the party. No big deal we can just do it later I thought. Until the crazy children as well as a few crazy adults started taking it down hills at the park. Insanity followed, with only Evangeline getting her foot run over once and my 2 boys taking a tumble. The kids had so much fun and I didn't even have a heart attack.

That evening we took a nice slow stroll as a family with our new wagon, it was very nice and peaceful.

So thats the story and I'm sticking to it.

Time is slipping away

Wow I have not posted on here in a long while it seems. I have been keeping so busy with life, kids, marriage, and my sewing.

Our business has been going well, we keep trying new things and they usually turn out well. (of course if they don't we simply hide the evidence. :)

Evangeline has officially finished 1st grade and next year I will be the mother of 2 school age children Amazing isn't it.

We hope to sell this place we currently call home this year and my awesome momma has volunteered to help me get the house ready to put it on the market. Please pray for us as our goal is to make it look clean and liveable. Hard to do when it is just too full of people.

Haven is a big boy already, he is eating some food, rolling over and growing much much to quickly.

Caleb will be 2 in July and although he is a bit of a bully at times he is also one of the most loving kids ever. (Even more so when Grandpa is over) Its not his fault his love language involves wrestling and hitting.

Justin has been workind an overly large amount of overtime since Edge switched over to AT&T. Good for extra money bad for family time and relaxation. Hopefully it will level off soon and he won't be too stressed until that happens.

I would post a pic or 2 or 3 but my camera is kinda brokenish. So my lovely words will have to suffice.

More soon I hope and even maybe a pic or two. Even if I have to take them with my camera phone.

Kindergarten age already?

So I filled out Timmy's Kindergarten registration paperwork today. I can't believe he will be in school this coming year.

He is such a character I just hope he is able to learn and grow at school. His favorite things to do right now are draw pictures, ignore mommy, and take as long as possible to do practically anything. :) Not sure what job that is preparing him for but I know its one more way I am learning patience.

This picture is him with a funny magnet man he built the other day, he was very cute. Notice the mouth. Hehehe
I don't know if he has learned all the letter sounds from these magnets yet but at least he is getting some good use out of them.

Garage Sale Season

So this weekend I am hosting a Yard Sale at my house. Just wanting to clean out the clutter and invited a few friends to join me. Hopefully we can get rid of loads of excess. (Who needs all that extra space filler anway?)
Shae and I also set up a booth inside of Kid Mart this week and I am working on turning my mountains of fabric and craft supplies into sellable products. :)
The more uncluttered I get our home the nicer of a place it is to be.

We also purchased a bread machine with part of our State refund. It has been really nice having fresh baked bread each day. The kids love watching through the window as the dough gets kneaded. Today I might try a sweet bread like banana nut.

Hoping for a sunny weekend and well behaved children for the sale, also hoping for alot of customers to see and ask for our items at Kid Mart. Prayers are always appreciated.

Take a turn for the better!

Its amazing how quickly life takes a turn for the better. Since I last posted pretty much nothing has changed other than my attitude. My oh my what a difference attitude can make.
I have been praying and trusting in God alot more, probably still not enough, but alot more. We now have a sort of weekly routine in place. Game night once a week, movie night once a week, Family devotions once a week, ect. It has made a world of difference for us. We have actually started doing some of the things we always said we wanted too. Also I have a reason, a motivation to get my house clean. Now that it has been so nice for a few weeks I am feeling happier, more in control, ready to tackle some of the clutter hidden in corners or cupboards.

Also on the upside God willing we should have CC debt paid off by Summer, and then we will be selling this house and searching for another. Prayers for that would be greatly appreciated as I am trying not to overstress about it.

This week I will be getting my Veggie bed ready and planting starts, it should be fun. :)

Life really is full of ups and downs, I am glad with prayer I am able to get through each faze of it stronger and hopefully closer to God.

Take a breath!

Time just seems to slip away from me anymore. I feel that if I don't sit back, pray, reflect, and make some changes I may just start missing some important bites of life.
My beautiful daughter is already 7 and my oldest son is 5 this Saturday. How and when did this happen? I fill my days, each and everyone, never having that minute of free time to just sit and spend one on one with my child. Yet I find the time for many mundane and useless things. For instance this blog. Ever cleaning, running, disciplining, forgetting just to Love.
Marriage? What about marriage, are we just walking through this life side by side? Or could this be something more? How can I forget to care about what he cares about. Forgetting to even ask the right questions. Emotions running high.

Trudging when I know I could run or at least walk.

Changes, it's now or never. Praying, waiting, acting

Hope for grace and peace

Just a little something

This is something my cousin emailed me! Its a pic that reminds her of me and my girl cousins. We all grew up very close and are more like sisters than cousins. :)

This is the text she sent along with it!

Hey everyone!

I just bought this folder for Emily with some princesses drawn on it. When I got it home and started looking at it closer It reminded me a lot about all of us.

This it what I noticed:

Jenny- Her favorite colors, when she was real little, were purple and pink. Now it is deep red.
She likes anime and this princess looks like the Japanese cartoon art. Her eyes and hair are brown.
The dress looks very much like her to me with that little jacket.

Esther- One of my favorite colors is pink. She is wearing pearl earrings, My middle name is Pearl.
I wore gloves just like those for my wedding. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.
This dress is not my favorite, but I like western style the most of all of us I think.

Liorah- Gold is definitely her color. I think she likes green too. Her hair was red for many years of her life (maybe not all natural, but nice!)
Those large blue eyes definitely remind me of her. Her hair always looked really pretty braided. That dress just fits her style.

Beth- This Princess looks the most royal, She was always very proper. She likes pink. She is the shortest (sorry Beth).
I don't ever remember you having bangs. Maybe in the late 80's? She is also wearing pearls, Her middle name is Pearl.
She has blonde hair and blue eyes. This dress looks like a queens dress, and she was always the Mommy to us all.

Abbie- One of her favorite colors, or maybe Bob's, Is blue. The golden hair is definitely her.
The princesses eyes are blue, but hers are hazel. close though. This dress is soft with clean lines and less fussy which works well for her.
I remember you didn't like fussy dresses as a kid.

Lots of love Esther
