Simple things
Here are a few things I really like to eat, drink, watch, use ect...
http://www.mocafe.net/groundchocolate.aspx
- This stuff is so delicious. If you like a spiced hot chocolate you should give it a try. I have been finding it at Ross for only $3.99 for a 14 oz. container. Of course they don't have it all the time. :( (Also you must use milk and not water)

- City of Ember - I just saw this movie with the family at home last week. I really enjoyed it and found it a fun sci-fi fantasy type adventure that was still family friendy and entertaining for both kids and adults.

- For the gamer geeks I know this is so awesome. You all probably already have one or at least know about them but oh well. We so will be dragging out our Nintendo games when we get this. Hear comes Zelda the original and best. hehehe

- Yay for Disneyland, we are finally taking our kids there this year. At least thats what Evangeline thinks. After all she has been waiting to go like forever. Anyway I am really excited. Isn't it like one of the nicest things to get to take your kids someplace you know they will have so much fun and make such lasting memories.
Anyway enjoy these simple silly links and maybe I will post some more sometime!

Tot School 2
We didn't get to do too much tot school this week. I don't know why but it was just one of those weeks, I kept thinking it had to be almost Friday already. :)
Here the Tots are mixing up Lemon Cookies. We like to make cake mix cookies. Easy and a fun way to teach cooking basics.
(I told them to smile and say cheese and this is what they did! Silly kids)
New lacing cards I picked up on clearance at Ross!
They had alot of fun with these. I didn't really make them go all around the edges, just kinda let them lace how they wanted this time. I will probably have them do a bit more of a pattern next time.
We played with this awesome space floor puzzle. It was a little advanced for the tots but big brother (5) helped them out. They loved it and afterwards there were little cards to pull out and find the match of on the puzzle. It was fun and we got to talk all about space. I also found this puzzle on clearance at Ross this week.
I hope to do some more organized like activities this week, of course we will see what really works out. :)

Tot School
Music Time
Do I eat it or play it?
They were all pretty good at playing more than one instrument at once. :) I guess it is a bit easier when it doesn't really matter how you sound.
Playing with some playdough - They enjoyed making snowman families.
Making paper snowflakes (Fun as long as these two can play nice) :)
Cup tower - Fun to stack, fun to count.
Then knock it down and start again. hehehe
Birthday Girl
Well my Beautiful Princess turned 8 this month. We held her party this last weekend and it was a blast. She really wanted to have her first sleepover party and so we did. There were 8 kids all family so it wasn't too much work at all really just crowded. :)
Everyone seemed to have a great time. We played WII games, painted some fleece blankets that they all got to keep, ate pies for dessert, watched Animaniacs with some popcorn and sparkling apple cider, and ate sugary breakfast cereal in the morning (Not the usual for my kiddoes).
Here is a few pics for those who may like to take a look.

Sleepover Party Plans
Tonight is Evangelines first official sleepover party. She is now officially 8 years old.
This is the pair of Jammies I made her last night. I was even able to follow a pattern all by myself. I am so happy. :) She loves Little House on the Prairie so I wanted it to be a little in that style.
This is a fun paper banner I made to put up in the Kitchen. Finally used the oval cutter my MIL purchased for me from Memory Makers. It was easy and now I will probably be using it all the time. Thanks Abbie for the idea for a banner!
Now I am gonna go and bake a pumpkin pie and get my house cleaned the rest of the way. I also am trying to think up a few other small decorations so if I do anything else I may come update my post. :)

New Years Eve
New Years Eve was a crazy party night at our house. We had Amy, Eli, and Lala over and the kids all had a great time making as much noise as possible and jumping on all the mattresses we had all over the living room floor. :) I undecorated the tree except for the crazy disco star and filled it with red balloons instead. A tradition I kinda borrowed from my Auntie Peggy. It was a really nice evening.
